The story:

Sometimes it's so hard to escape! Escape from our city where we were born...our buildings have all our names...they can read our minds...people know what we wan't and they don't want to talk about it...they are all too scared to change it...they all live like ghoast in their dreams, in their past.
The Red Exp's RUNAWAY BABY soundtrack from the same titled movie, is a story about a boy, who wants to escape from his grey childhood. Shooted in Tihunai/Brasil and Trbovlje/Slovenia, movie makes a beautiful poem to the music.

PEOPLE ARE POTATOES (2006)

The story:

Bobby is a young potatoe boy. Every day he goes for a shopping with his girlfriend Amina. He always has troubles finding good potatoe these days. He is also a very sad potatoe boy. He came to Red Exp for advice. Red Exp explained to him, that he has to put potatoes out. 'Let it go Bobby!
Too much potatoes means to much worries... To much aggression... To much unsatisfiction!'
Bobby namely commited suicide before he visited Red Exp.

CHINESE MANDRA (2006)

The story:

CHINESE MANDRA is a name for a meditation, where people sit in a circle and whatch each other constantly in their eyes. After few hours, they need to change the position to another person. If the group is big, then this meditation can last for a week.
Goal is to not blink during the few hours procedure. If you blink, then you must give something to the other person. It can be some wisdom, some thought, but not material thing. Red Exp blinked like crazy during the one month session! Blink, blink, blink, blink...

JULLIE (2005)

The story:

Miss Jullie is a beautiful lady. I meet her at the sea side jazz festival in Croatia. We went to a beautiful house at her place where she was born. We were dancing all night, watching other people and inventing stories about what they do. After we split, I decided that this could be a good movie. I came back after few days, and started to record people. I shoot near 10 hours of material. I recorded also a lot of noises and atmospheres.At home, when the movie was so so edited, I projected it on the wall and started to jamm with my piano. It came out to me in minute, that piano is better then the dialogs and atmospheres. I connceted my recording gear and improvisation to picture on the wall began. The soundtrack was finished one ohour later. I edited some points, and movie called 'Boys Like Sexy Legs, Girls Like Ice Cream', was finished. And also the soundtrack, which I gave it name - Jullie.

Movie was premiered at Bradford film festival UK, as a retrospective of slovenian cinema in March 2006.

The story:

Red Exp is always looking inside, and from inside, everything comes outside. If we are ready to deal with inside, if we are open and sensitive, outside will be much nicer, more relaxe. People will say hello to you, people will know who you are.
Red Exp made a test. WAY OUT INSIDE test. He took his suitcase and went into the water. He was standing there all day, observing people that were passing by. Suddenly, a black woman came and said hello to him. She recognized him. She stepped into the water. After 7 minutes, 3 other passanger stopped, and after some time, they also stepped into the water. At the end of the day, there were 27 people standing in the water. Red Exp opened his suitcase, and each one of them gave the sweet candy with a sign: 'Be careful, I am watching you!'

The story:

RAINY WALK (2002)

The story:

Mr. Red Exp went out in the rain with his poem book. What he created was a visualy too expressive for him, so he has to dismissed all colors. He made a very nice visual conversation with himslef, talking about life, colors and other for human no importatnt things. His poetical RAINY WALK was a page no.3 in his Walking Diary.

People who were there knew what will happen at the end. Mr. Red Exp got the official licence to use name Red Exp downtown. Downtown on earth. He made it finally!!!

HORSE RIDE (2001)

The story:

Mr. Red Exp watched a couple - man and woman - sitting all day in their living room. Boring afternoon, black and white picture, windy countryside. No sun, no thoughts, no memories. Man suddenly stands up and goes to drive with the train. There he watches a young girl on the train, then he goes down. A young girl follows him. We see a black horse. They HORSE RIDE and then they make love in the dessert. They kiss each other naked in the sun. Then he dissapears again. He comes back at the evening and kisses his wife. Same old boring day. He goes to the bathroom.
Red Exp made a soundtrack for this invisible movie. Again.

Young guy followed Mr. Red Exp to his home. When he wanted to knock on his door, he felt into a big hole. What happened then is a strange coincidence. Mr. Red Exp knew that guy from the before. They were together in high school. Sitting together. Writting poems. Then he dissapeard. Also Mr. Red Exp dissapeard for quite a long time. Why he felt into a hole under Mr. Red Exp's house? Because he forgot to knock with a right hand!

The story:

Mr. Red Exp choosed a girl to help him in RED ROOM SHOW. She didn't know that the whole idea about helping in Red Room is about helping her dreams come true. She remembert her past - friends, husband, family, kids!
She was on the screen! People watched her and talked to her, asking her questions about life. Red Exp gave her at the end: the ticket, a photo, and a golden watch!

The story:

As you know, Red Exp told Mr. Red Exp to invited Red Snakes, a band which he found on his crazy Yellow Box adventure, to play in his well known QUIZZ WITH RED EXP - TV SHOW. Special guests were also Marilyn Monroe, Jimmy Hendrix and a young kid named Tree Six.
This is a famous soundtrack of Red Snakes' live performance from the Tv show.

CYBER WILD PUNK - 13 songs - 45min

The story:

Mr. Red Exp woke up lost in the forest. He met crazy wizzard Yellow Cab, who told him that he has to find spiritual master Blue Rabbi to untie the puzzle. He then met Red Snakes, a punk band who invited him to play in a very known gay club called YELLOW BOX. He then met magical Painter and beautiful Snow White, who he has to rescue to became awaken again.

FAIRY TALE ROCK - 11 songs - 48min

The story:

FIRST SONGS COMPOSED BY MR. RED EXP, when he was 14 years old.
Playing acoustic guitar, singing, but before that...he has to record drums...a big procedure for that time.
No good microphones, no knowledge, no garage place.
He recorded songs in his small kitchen, where acoustics were not very - SILENT. Unusual process, but the result is...ingenuous!
I like it! The soul is there, the naive tone was starting to be red. Lyrics are punkish..but not black!
I wanted to feel---like today---like always!!!
